WW2 German KdF C.S. Robert Ley Cap Tally Ribbon Maritime Kriegsmarine Naval Style

Old vintage copy of a rare German maritime-style cap tally ribbon reading “C.S. Robert Ley.” This ribbon is styled after those worn aboard the famous German Strength Through Joy (Kraft durch Freude – KdF) cruise ship Robert Ley, one of the best-known vessels associated with pre-war German leisure travel programs during the Third Reich era.
The ribbon features woven blue Gothic-style lettering on a white cloth band along with printed ship/company style flags at both ends. One side displays a historic-style red flag motif while the opposite side shows the KdF sunwheel-style emblem flag. A very attractive display piece for collectors of German maritime history, ocean liner memorabilia, and vintage militaria reproductions.
The Robert Ley was a major KdF cruise liner operated for organized worker vacations before WWII and later saw wartime service. Original ship tally ribbons are extremely scarce, making these older vintage copies popular display and reenactment pieces.
Condition shows age, storage wear, staining/discoloration, and fraying at the ends as shown. Displays very well overall.
