WWII Nazi German Kriegsmarine Navy U-Boat War Badge Swastika in Diamonds – Schwerin Berlin 68

Offered here is a very high quality replica of the exceptionally rare WWII German Kriegsmarine U-Boat War Badge with Diamonds (U-Boot-Kriegsabzeichen mit Brillanten).

The original Diamonds grade was one of the most prestigious and scarce Kriegsmarine decorations of WWII, associated with exceptionally successful U-Boat commanders. Approximately 30 examples were awarded, making originals extraordinarily rare today.

This impressive replica closely follows the appearance of the original award, featuring a detailed U-Boat within a gilt laurel wreath, surmounted by the Kriegsmarine eagle. The central emblem is set with nine simulated diamond-style stones, giving the badge the distinctive appearance of the extremely rare Diamonds grade.

The reverse is fitted with a vertical pin and catch and is clearly maker marked:

SCHWERIN
BERLIN 68

Schwerin of Berlin was an actual wartime manufacturer associated with the U-Boat War Badge with Diamonds, and original examples are documented with the “SCHWERIN BERLIN 68” marking.

This example has a particularly attractive bright gold-tone finish, sharp detailing throughout the wreath, submarine and eagle, and an excellent overall presentation.

IMPORTANT: This badge is being sold as a modern high-quality replica/reproduction for collecting, historical display, reenactment or replacement purposes. It is not being represented as an original WWII-issued badge, and the stones are simulated rather than genuine diamonds.

A striking reproduction of one of the rarest and most desirable Kriegsmarine U-Boat awards of the Second World War.

Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition, construction, finish, maker marking and details. Sold exactly as shown.
