WWII Nazi German NSDAP Golden Party Badge 1939 Third Reich Special NSDAP Award

Offered here is an exceptionally high-quality museum-grade replica of the WWII German NSDAP Golden Party Badge (Goldenes Parteiabzeichen), one of the most recognizable political awards of the Third Reich period.

The Golden Party Badge was instituted in 1933 and is best known for its association with early Party membership. In addition to the numbered badges awarded to qualifying early members, special versions could be bestowed for exceptional service. These special-award examples are distinguished by the A.H. initials and award date on the reverse, rather than an ordinary Party membership number.

This museum-quality reproduction features the classic red, white and black enameled central Party emblem, surrounded by a highly detailed gold-colored oak-leaf wreath. The contrasting enamel and bright gilt finish give the badge a particularly impressive appearance.

The reverse is fitted with a traditional horizontal brooch-style pin and catch and is stamped:

GES. GESCH.
11913

The overall construction is patterned after the special-award style of Golden Party Badge. Period special-award badges are documented with dated reverse markings, while high-quality reproductions are also produced with multi-piece construction, enamel centers and gilt wreaths.

The quality and detailing make this an excellent piece for a museum-style display, historical collection, reenactment display, educational exhibit, or replacement example where an extremely valuable original would be impractical.

IMPORTANT: This is a modern museum-quality replica/reproduction and is NOT being represented or sold as an original pre-1945 manufactured badge.

An impressive reproduction of one of the most distinctive and historically significant political badges of the Third Reich era.

Please examine all photographs carefully for exact construction, markings, finish and condition. Sold exactly as shown.
