WWII Anti Nazi German Hermann Goring Adolf Hitler Mussolini NSDAP Third Reich Propaganda Leaflet The Fuhrers Speeches

Original WWII British-produced anti-German propaganda leaflet intended for distribution to German audiences. This is an especially striking psychological-warfare piece featuring Hermann Göring, Adolf, and Benito Mussolini on the front, each shown with deliberately unflattering photographic imagery intended to ridicule the Axis leadership.

The front is boldly headed “FÜHRER WORTE!” — “Words of the Führer!” and reproduces dated statements concerning the Ruhr, British bombing, and German air superiority. The use of distorted or mocking images of Göring, Adolf and Mussolini gives the leaflet a particularly strong anti-Axis propaganda character.

The reverse is headed “ENGLANDS ANGEBOT” (England’s Offer) and “ENGLANDS FORDERUNG” (England’s Demand). It presents Britain’s stated position concerning justice, punishment of war criminals, economic equality, employment and security, while explicitly urging the German population to turn against the NSDAP government.

The reverse quotes or references prominent Allied political figures including Lord Cranborne, British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden, Sir Stafford Cripps, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill.

At the bottom is the dramatic statement:

“DAS DEUTSCHE VOLK HAT DIE WAHL”
Translation: “The German people have the choice.”

Importantly, this is Allied anti-German propaganda rather than a German-produced propaganda piece. It represents the psychological-warfare campaign directed against Germany and its Axis leadership during WWII.

The leaflet shows genuine period age and use, including toning, staining, folds/creases, edge wear and several punched holes, all clearly visible in the photographs. The front is marked “G. 32” at lower right.

A fascinating original WWII propaganda artifact with an unusually strong combination of Adolf, Hermann Göring and Benito Mussolini imagery, making it an excellent addition to an Allied propaganda, psychological warfare, Third Reich, Axis, or WWII ephemera collection.
