1938 Nazi German Third Reich Leipzig Technical & Building Trade Fair French Advertising Label Stamp MNH

Original 1938 Leipzig Trade Fair advertising label produced for the French-speaking market, promoting the spring technical and building exhibition in Leipzig.

The French inscription reads:

“Grande Foire Technique et Foire du Bâtiment à Leipzig”
Great Technical Fair and Building Fair at Leipzig

and:

“Printemps 1938 du 6 au 14 Mars”
Spring 1938, March 6–14.

The upper portion contains a detailed illustrated fairgrounds map with numbered exhibition buildings and the famous Leipzig double-M Messe emblem along the left side.

A particularly interesting international advertising piece demonstrating the extensive overseas promotion of the Leipzig trade fairs during the 1930s.
