WW2 Nazi German 1944 NSDAP Official Document Letter w Swastika Eagle

Original November 27, 1944 NSDAP official document issued by the NSDAP Kreis Bochum, Gauleitung Westfalen-Süd, during the final months of WWII. The document has an impressive official letterhead featuring the NSDAP political eagle and swastika emblem prominently at the top.

The letter is dated 27.11.1944 and originates from the Kreiskassenleiter — the district-level party treasury/cash administration in Bochum. It is addressed to the Ortsgruppenkassenleiter, Pg. Fuchs, at B.-Wiemelhausen, Wiemelhauser Str. 361.

The subject is “Frl. Ilse Paßiep” (Miss Ilse Paßiep). The main text translates approximately:

“As an enclosure I am forwarding to you the letter establishing the Besoldung [salary/remuneration], with the request that it be handed over to the person named. The copy likewise enclosed is intended for your files.”

The document closes with the period “Heil Hitler!” salutation and bears an original handwritten signature over the typed name “(Buschey).” Particularly desirable is the original purple circular NSDAP Kreis Bochum / Kreiskassenleitung administrative stamp, incorporating another political eagle and swastika.

The combination of the large printed party eagle, Gauleitung Westfalen-Süd, NSDAP Kreis Bochum, late-war 1944 date, Ortsgruppe correspondence, original ink stamp and handwritten official signature makes this a strong example of surviving NSDAP administrative paperwork.

The sheet also retains its original two staples at the upper left, consistent with the text referring to enclosures or copies that were once associated with the correspondence. The actual enclosure referenced in the letter is not present; this listing is for the single document shown.

Condition is very good overall for an original 1944 paper document, with a horizontal mailing/storage fold, light age toning and minor handling wear as shown. Printing, typewriting, stamp and signature remain clearly visible.
