WW2 German Wehrmacht Steel Helmet soldiers training photos x 8 w Album Pages

Original WWII German Wehrmacht Training Photo Lot – 8 Photos – Infantry Marching, Field Exercise & Barracks – Album Mounted

Description

Excellent original WWII German Wehrmacht photograph grouping consisting of 8 period photographs mounted on two original photo album pages. This is a particularly interesting training-related group showing German soldiers during military instruction, field exercises and everyday barracks life.

Several of the strongest images show a large formation of steel-helmeted Wehrmacht troops marching along a rural road, providing excellent views of uniforms, field equipment, helmets and the marching formation. Another photograph shows soldiers conducting what appears to be a field training exercise in a wooded area, with men positioned on the ground and equipment set up nearby.

Other photographs include a clear studio-style portrait of a Wehrmacht soldier, candid scenes of soldiers gathered together, and views apparently taken inside the soldiers’ quarters or training facility. One image shows a simple food display including bread, fruit, pitcher and other provisions, while another provides an unusual view down the corridor of the military building.

The photographs remain mounted as originally found on two period black album pages, preserving the grouping and historical context.

A very nice untouched WWII German military photo grouping with especially strong marching and training imagery. Excellent material for collectors of Wehrmacht photographs, German soldier albums, military training photographs, steel helmet imagery, field equipment, barracks life and WWII German militaria.
