WWI Imperial German Kaiser Wilhelm II Feldpost Postcard 1915 Reserve Division

Original WWI Imperial German Feldpost postcard featuring an engraved portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II in military uniform with decorations.

The card is dated 1915 and bears a strong circular military cancellation reading “K.D. Feldpostexped. der 47. Reserve-Div.”, identifying it with the 47th Reserve Division of the Imperial German Army.

The front contains handwritten military information for the sender, while the reverse has a lengthy handwritten wartime message. It was sent as military Feldpost and therefore required no postage stamp.

Printed by Fr. Knapp, Minden i.W.

An interesting original WWI postal-history piece combining Kaiser Wilhelm II, Imperial German military history, Feldpost and a clearly identifiable Reserve Division cancellation.

Condition is as shown with age-related wear, light staining, handling marks and some fading to the handwritten message. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition.
