WWII German Camo Panzer Tanks War Military Art Postcard lot Eastern Front

Excellent group of 3 original WWII German color military art postcards depicting German armored forces and the Eastern Front campaign. All three were published by Erich Gutjahr Bildverlag, Berlin NW 40, Lehrter Straße 40, a wartime publisher known for military postcard series.

Each card is unused and retains a large period Fliegerunterführungsstelle Lübeck eagle inspection/issue stamp on the reverse.

The three cards are:

1. “Getarnte Panzer” – Bestell-Nr. 95
Translation: “Camouflaged Tanks.”
Artwork by war correspondent Hensel. The dramatic color scene depicts camouflaged German tanks advancing through tall vegetation. Card No. 95 is documented as part of the Gutjahr war-correspondent series.

2. “Sowjetische Straße bei Schilkowo” – Bestell-Nr. 90
Translation: “Soviet Road near Schilkowo.”
By war correspondent Hensel. Shows a column of military vehicles moving along a rough Soviet road with smoke rising in the distance. This is documented as Gutjahr card No. 90.

3. “…weiter rollt der Angriff” – Bestell-Nr. 73
Translation: “…the attack rolls on.”
By war correspondent Schneider. Shows a German tank advancing through a devastated and burning battlefield, with an armed soldier in the foreground. This design is documented as Gutjahr No. 73 by Hermann Schneider.

These cards are associated with Gutjahr’s extensive series of wartime military artwork depicting the German campaign in the Soviet Union. Similar Gutjahr material has been dated to approximately the 1941–1942 Eastern Front period.

A particularly attractive matched group because all three retain the same Fliegerunterführungsstelle Lübeck reverse marking.

Original period pieces with age-related toning, edge and corner wear, small creases and other handling wear as pictured. The No. 73 card has a noticeable upper-right corner crease/tear.
