WWII US Soldiers Heavy Artillery Cannon Battle German Military War Art Postcard

WW2 German made US military art postcard depicting U.S. soldiers preparing a massive heavy artillery cannon for battle.

The dramatic scene shows an American artillery crew working around the large gun in a wooded position, with camouflage netting surrounding the emplacement. An excellent image emphasizing the scale of the heavy artillery piece and the soldiers preparing it for action.

The reverse is marked:

“Verlag für Traditionspflege, Rielasingen-Hegau (17 b)”

An interesting card appears to be an immediate postwar German-produced military postcard depicting American forces.

Unused reverse with no writing, stamp or postal cancellation. Shows age-related toning, spotting, corner and edge wear as pictured.
