WW1 Imperial German Military Humor Postcard Soldier Nurse Barbed Wire 1914

Original WWI Imperial German Military Humor Postcard titled “Das Draht-Hindernis” (The Wire Obstacle), featuring a colorful and humorous illustration of a German soldier flirting with a young woman outside a building.

The soldier is depicted wearing an Imperial German field-gray military uniform and cap, smoking a pipe while standing beside the woman. Other uniformed soldiers appear in the background.

The scene humorously compares the soldier’s romantic encounter with a military barbed-wire obstacle, a clever example of German wartime humor.
