ORIGINAL WWII THIRD REICH GERMAN PHOTOGRAPH LOT – 6 PHOTOS SHOWING A WEHRMACHT MILITARY BAND PERFORMING BEFORE A LARGE CROWD OF CIVILIANS, INCLUDING DJ DEUTSCHE JUGEND AND HJ HITLER YOUTH BOYS AND CHILDREN, WITH GERMAN OFFICERS AND SOLDIERS IN ATTENDANCE. A YOUNG HASIDIC JEWISH BOY LOOKS ON FROM THE CROWD.

Excellent historical grouping of 6 original WWII-era German black-and-white photographs, documenting  the same public military band performance and gathering in a German town.

These fascinating photographs capture several different perspectives of the event, including a large uniformed Wehrmacht-style military brass band performing in a town square surrounded by civilians, children, and German military personnel.

The musicians are shown playing trombones, trumpets, tubas, and other brass and wind instruments, with music stands arranged before them. A uniformed conductor directs the performance.

Other photographs show groups of German military officers and soldiers wearing long greatcoats, peaked caps, and field caps, standing together during the gathering.

ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING DETAILS IS THE LARGE NUMBER OF CHILDREN WATCHING THE PERFORMANCE.

Several photographs capture young boys and girls standing among the spectators, providing a remarkable glimpse of everyday civilian life in wartime Germany.

One particularly interesting photograph shows what appears to be a young Hasidic Jewish boy wearing a dark hat and coat, shaved head and curls. His appearance may be of interest to collectors researching Jewish civilian life during Nazi Germany.

This six-photograph grouping is particularly interesting because it documents not only the musicians and uniformed personnel but also the civilian audience, including numerous children.

Together, the photographs provide a compelling visual record of the relationship between military ceremonies and everyday civilian life in Germany during the WWII period.

The different camera angles and repeated appearances of the same buildings, soldiers, and spectators make this an especially interesting historical photographic grouping.
