Offered here is an original NS-Volkswohlfahrt (NSV) receipt card from Gau Düsseldorf, dated 21 January 1938, complete with its two attached 1.00 Reichsmark NSV contribution stamps.
The document is headed:
“NS-Volkswohlfahrt im Gau Düsseldorf”
(National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization in the Gau of Düsseldorf)
The receipt records payments totaling 2.50 Reichsmarks, including:

0.50 RM admission fee (Aufnahme)
2.00 RM contribution (Beitrag)

Historical Background
The NS-Volkswohlfahrt (NSV) was the welfare organization of the NSDAP and became one of the largest social organizations in Germany during the 1930s. Founded in 1931, it provided charitable assistance, winter relief collections, aid for mothers and children, and support for needy families. By the late 1930s, millions of Germans belonged to or contributed to the organization.
Contribution receipts and membership documents such as this were used to record dues and donations and are increasingly difficult to find with the original revenue-style contribution stamps still attached.

Original period document dated 21 January 1938.
Two original 1 RM NSV contribution stamps remain attached.
Light age toning and normal handling wear.
Handwritten entries and official ink stamp remain clear and attractive.
Overall very good collectible condition.

An excellent original piece of NSV social welfare history and a desirable addition to any collection of German historical documents, revenue stamps, or organizational ephemera.
