5 WWI Imperial German Soldier Postcards Military Photos Feldpost 1914-18

Original lot of 5 WWI-era German postcards and photographic cards, including several excellent Imperial German soldier subjects along with period German scenes.

Highlights include an original photographic portrait of a uniformed Imperial German soldier, a particularly nice group photograph showing three German soldiers in uniform and field caps, and period German postcards associated with the wartime era.

The lot includes:

• Two military soldier photographs/postcards — one individual portrait and one showing three uniformed soldiers.
• Landgestüt Labes vor der Kantine — horse-drawn carriage scene at the state stud/facility.
• Wahner Heide – Partie am Scheuerteich — period landscape postcard.
• “Pfälzer Stillleben” — colorful German still-life postcard showing a stoneware jug, drink and traditional food.

Two of the cards are postally used with handwritten German correspondence. One has a clear 18.12.15 postmark, dating it to December 18, 1915, while the Pfälzer Stillleben card also retains an early wartime postal cancellation and lengthy handwritten message.

An interesting mixed group for collectors of WWI German military photography, Imperial German Army uniforms, Feldpost, postal history and antique German postcards.

All 5 cards shown are included. They show normal age-related wear, toning, edge/corner wear, writing and handling consistent with pieces over a century old. Please use the photographs to judge exact condition.

Ships every day, including Saturdays. Combined shipping available.
