WWII German Luftwaffe Hauptfeldwebel Accounting Course Fliegerhorst Document

Original WWII German Luftwaffe administrative training material from a Hauptfeldwebel-Lehrgang (senior NCO course) associated with Flughafen/Fliegerhorst-Bereich Gießen.

The later portion is headed “Zahlungsverkehr” (“Payment Transactions”) and includes a section titled “Allgemein” (“General”). The final question shown asks how the administrative group of a Fliegerhorstkommandantur was organized, listing departments including the pay office, accounting office, clothing, payroll, kitchen administration and accommodations.

There are numerous period pencil check marks, underlining and handwritten annotations, suggesting this was actually used as a working study or examination document rather than simply being an unused instructional handout.

It provides a detailed look at the behind-the-scenes financial and administrative system required to operate a German airfield command during WWII.
