Original 1939 EK2 Iron Cross Oak Leaves Gottfried Klein Art Postcard w Adolf Hitler stamp

Original Third Reich German propaganda postcard dating from 1939, featuring a striking design by German artist Gottfried Klein. The front depicts the 1939 Iron Cross with swastika, suspended from its black-white-red ribbon and surmounted by a large golden oak-leaf branch.

The inscription reads:

“Es kann nur einer siegen und das sind wir”
Translation: “Only one can be victorious, and that is us.”

Below the quotation is “Adolf Hitler am 8. November 1939” — identifying the statement as being attributed to Adolf Hitler on November 8, 1939.

The artist’s signature “Gottfried Klein” appears at the lower left.

The reverse is an unused German Postkarte with a printed 6+19 Pfennig Adolf Hitler postal indicium, showing Hitler speaking at a podium. The card retains its original address and sender fields and has not been mailed or written upon.
