Hitler Youth Pimpf DJ Boys Parade Drummer w Flags Banners WW2 Nazi German Photo

Original pre-WWII German photograph showing a group of Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) Pimpf boys marching together with musical instruments and flags.

This is an especially interesting image showing the younger DJ members forming what appears to be a marching drum and fanfare group. Several boys carry large marching drums with the sig rune, while others carry long fanfare-style instruments. A unit flag or pennant can also be seen among the group.

The reverse is handwritten:

“25.10.35 – 1.11.37”
“1 Zug”

The latter translates as “1st Platoon” (or 1st section/group in this organizational context). The dates  reference October 25, 1935 through November 1, 1937.

The boys’ distinctive shorts, uniforms, drums, instruments, and unit formation make this an excellent period image documenting Deutsches Jungvolk activities before WWII.

Approximately 4 x 3 inches; please see the ruler photograph for exact size comparison.

Original period photograph with scalloped edges and expected age/handling wear. There are two remnants/marks on the reverse upper corners, likely from previous album mounting. Sold exactly as shown.
