Historical & Genealogical Interest

This is a particularly useful group because the documents were preserved together and contain overlapping surnames and family relationships. Rather than seven unrelated certificates, they provide a small genealogical archive of several connected rural German families.

Occupations such as Ackerer and Landwirt identify members of the families as farmers/agricultural workers, while the certificates preserve birthplaces, dates, spouses and parents extending back into the 19th century.

The documents themselves were issued in 1936, while the vital events they certify reach back several decades.

Official Stamps & Revenue Stamps

Each document bears an official Niederstadtfeld registry seal with the period German eagle emblem and an original registrar’s signature.

Also present are multiple attached blue 10 Pfennig Gebührenmarke fee/revenue stamps, many with handwritten cancellation markings. These make the group additionally interesting to collectors of German revenue stamps, fiscal stamps and official civil paperwork.

Condition

Original documents showing varying age and storage wear. Expect folds, toning, staining, edge wear, small tears and handling marks. One death certificate has noticeably heavier brown staining along the lower portion. The revenue stamps, official seals, typed information and signatures generally remain quite clear.

Sold as one original matched lot of 7 documents exactly as shown.

An excellent group for collectors of German genealogy, civil registration documents, family history, revenue stamps, Niederstadtfeld/Eifel regional history and 1930s German paperwork.
