Original WW2 Nazi german Third Reich Adolf Hitler Portrait Postal Card Propaganda Postcard

Offered here is an original period Third Reich postal card featuring a large formal photographic portrait of Adolf Hitler on the front.

The card has an attractive geometric Art Deco-style border surrounding the portrait. The reverse is printed “POSTKARTE” and “AN” with address lines and a matching decorative border.

At the upper right is the preprinted 6+19 Pfennig Deutsches Reich postal indicium, also featuring a portrait of Hitler. The additional 19 Pfennig surcharge identifies this as a semi-postal postal stationery issue rather than an ordinary 6 Pfennig postcard.

This example appears unused and unmailed, with no handwriting, address or postal cancellation. The large blank correspondence panel remains unused.

A particularly displayable example because it combines a full-size photographic portrait with a matching portrait postal indicium on the reverse. An interesting original piece of German postal stationery and Third Reich-era philatelic history.
