Original WWII German 12-Page Illustrated Print Lot – Hitler, Göring, Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe, Medals & Combat Photos

Excellent 12-page grouping of WWII-era German illustrated prints and photographic plates, with some sheets printed on both sides and others on one side only. The pages contain a wide assortment of military and political imagery covering the German armed forces, senior commanders, decorations, campaigns, naval warfare, aircraft, parades and wartime events.

The sheets appear to have originally been bound together, with punched binding holes/notches along the margins. They are now loose and can be displayed individually. Several of the large photographic plates would look especially impressive matted and framed as period military displays.

Also included are text/quotation sheets such as:

Translation: “The German soldier is the hero of this campaign.”

Another sheet contains a printed quotation attributed to Adolf Hitler concerning the German Army of the First World War.

These are useful surviving examples of the military and political messaging presented in German wartime publications.

Condition

The 12 loose pages show age and handling consistent with older printed material. There is scattered toning, foxing/spotting, edge and corner wear, occasional small tears and some damage around the original binding holes/notches. Condition varies somewhat from page to page. The photographs and printed illustrations remain generally strong, sharp and highly displayable.
