Original WWII Nazi German Third Reich Polizei Police Tschako Helmet Eagle Aluminum Badge Insignia

Original WWII German Polizei (Police) Tschako helmet eagle, an impressive large-format piece of Third Reich police headgear insignia.

This example features the characteristic outstretched police eagle above a large oak-leaf wreath surrounding the swastika. The detailed construction includes finely rendered feathering throughout the eagle’s wings and body, along with deeply defined oak leaves and acorns.

This is the type of large metal insignia mounted to the front of the German Polizei Tschako, the distinctive police shako helmet used by uniformed German police formations during the Third Reich era.

As shown alongside the ruler, the eagle measures 6 inches across, making it a substantial display piece. The silver-colored finish remains attractive, with age and surface wear consistent with an original period piece. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition and construction details.

A desirable piece of original WWII German police insignia that displays extremely well and would make an excellent addition to a Polizei, Tschako, helmet insignia, or Third Reich militaria collection.

Condition: Original period item showing age and wear. Please see all photographs for the exact condition and see ruler for size comparison.
