RARE Antisemitic WW2 Nazi German 1939 Third Reich Christmas Shop Sign “Arischen Kunden” Aryan Customers only Sieg Heil Santa Claus

Original 1939 Third Reich-era German Antisemitic racially charged propaganda Christmas advertising/display sign, an unusual piece of prewar commercial and propaganda ephemera combining a Christmas greeting with explicit National Socialist racial language and the political slogan “Sieg Heil!”

The front reads:

“Den verehrten arischen Kunden
ein frohes Weihnachtsfest
und ein
Sieg Heil!
1939”

Translation:

“To our esteemed Aryan customers, a Merry Christmas and a Sieg Heil! 1939.”

The reverse features a large black-ink Christmas illustration showing Santa Claus / Weihnachtsmann carrying a basket of gifts, with Christmas decorations hanging overhead. Beside him is a caricatured Black figure pulling or carrying luggage/goods. The small banner at lower left appears to read “IPA.”

Dated 1939, the piece is particularly interesting because it combines ordinary Christmas commercial imagery with the racial and political language imposed on German public life under the Third Reich. Period sources document the use of “Sieg Heil” during National Socialist Christmas celebrations and other public ceremonies.

This appears to have been intended as a shop, business, or customer Christmas greeting/display, rather than a conventional postcard. The clipped upper corner may have been part of its original display configuration.

Condition: Displays age toning, edge and corner wear, some small edge losses, creasing and several stains along the right side. Printing remains dark and highly legible. Please review all photographs for exact condition.
