RARE! Nazi German NSDAP Third Reich Joseph Goebbels Etching Postcard Hand-Pulled Print 1935

Original and very rare Third Reich-era German postcard featuring a portrait of Dr. Joseph Goebbels, produced as an original etching rather than a standard printed photographic postcard. SZearch around, you won’t find this postcard anywhere else!

The reverse is specifically marked:

“Original-Radierung, Handabzug”
“Original etching”

This indicates the portrait was produced as an original hand-pulled etching impression, making it considerably more interesting than a typical mass-produced portrait card. The portrait also bears the artist’s signature in the plate/image area.

Below the portrait is a period quotation attributed to Dr. J. Goebbels:

“Mein Vaterland heißt Deutschland, liebe es über Alles und mehr in Taten — als in Worten.”

Translation:

“My fatherland is Germany; love it above all else, and more through deeds than through words.”

The postcard was genuinely postally used during the Third Reich period and retains a 6 Pfennig Deutsches Reich Hindenburg stamp with cancellation. The handwritten message on the reverse is dated 7.2.35 (February 7, 1935) and the card is addressed to München (Munich).

An unusual original period piece combining Third Reich political history, original graphic art, postal history and a hand-pulled etching technique.

Condition is as shown with age toning, corner and edge wear, writing and postal usage. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition.
