Rare Original WWII Nazi German Hitler Youth HJ Deutsches Jungvolk DJ Group Photo Jugend Home HQ

Rare original WWII-era German photograph showing a large group of approximately 40 boys and several adult leaders posed together outside what appears to be a Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) youth home, meeting facility, camp building, or local headquarters.

The boys appear to be primarily of Jungvolk age. The Deutsches Jungvolk was the junior boys’ section of the Hitler Youth organization, generally encompassing boys ages 10–14 before their transition into the HJ.

What makes this photograph especially interesting is the large painted inscription running across the front of the building:

“Deutsche Jugend, sei treu, sei gehorsam, sei ein…”

Translation:

“German youth, be loyal, be obedient, be united…”

The remainder of the inscription appears to continue beyond what is visible in the photograph.

The combination of the organized group portrait and prominent youth-oriented inscription strongly suggests that the building was associated with an organized youth facility. It could possibly be a DJ/Jugend home or local organizational headquarters, although the photograph alone does not provide enough evidence to identify the exact building or unit with certainty.

The image offers excellent period detail, including the building architecture, adult leaders, clothing worn by the boys, and the large organizational-style motto prominently displayed above them.

The photograph has attractive deckle-cut edges and remains sharp enough to clearly examine individual members of the group and architectural details.

Condition: Very good original condition with normal age and handling wear. Please examine the photographs closely for exact condition.

A particularly interesting piece of original Third Reich youth history and a strong addition to an HJ, Deutsches Jungvolk, German youth organization, social-history, or WWII photograph collection.
