Rare Original WWII Nazi German SS Officer Photo – Totenkopf Visor Cap EK1 Armband & Car

Rare and visually impressive original WWII German photograph showing an SS officer posed beside a period automobile.

The officer is shown in a dark SS uniform wearing an SS officer’s peaked visor cap with prominent eagle and Totenkopf skull insignia. His uniform also displays the distinctive SS swastika armband on the left sleeve.

Of particular interest, the officer appears to be a decorated veteran and wears an Iron Cross 1st Class (EK1) on the lower left breast pocket. His shoulder boards, collar insignia, visor cap, armband and decorations are all nicely visible, making this an excellent uniform and insignia study.

The period automobile beside him adds considerably to the photograph. A second vintage vehicle can also be seen in the background, giving the image additional historical and automotive interest.

An unusually strong SS officer portrait with multiple desirable details visible in a single photograph:

• SS officer’s Totenkopf visor cap
• Iron Cross 1st Class (EK1)
• SS swastika armband
• SS uniform and insignia
• Period automobile
• Excellent outdoor full-uniform composition

Original period photograph with scalloped edges. There is some light age/handling wear and a partially obscured area along the lower portion of the image, as visible in the photographs. Sold exactly as shown.
