RARE WWI German Invalidendank Charity Appeal Document Berlin 1915 War Veterans

Original Imperial German First World War “Invalidendank” charity appeal document, issued in Berlin during the Great War. This large two-sided printed circular was produced by the Invalidendank (Veterans Relief Fund), founded in 1872, to support wounded and disabled German soldiers and their families.
The document bears the name of Exzellenz Freiherr von Gablenz, Generalleutnant z.D.,  who served as chairman of the organization. Printed in black and red  Gothic script, it explains the mission of the fund, requests support  from recipients, and describes how proceeds would aid blinded and  crippled veterans returning from the front.
One side begins with the heading “Invalidendank” and includes the Berlin address:
Berlin W8, Unter den Linden 24 III
The reverse opens with the large heading:
“Bitte lesen Sie!” (“Please Read!”)
and further explains the charitable campaign and use of funds.
