Original WW2 Era German photographic postcard showing the famous Norddeutscher Lloyd ocean liners Bremen and Europa together at the Columbus Quay in Bremerhaven, Germany.

“Luftaufnahme. Norddeutsche Lloyddampfer ‘Bremen’ und ‘Europa’ an der Columbus Kaje in Bremerhaven.”

“Aerial view. North German Lloyd steamships ‘Bremen’ and ‘Europa’ at the Columbus Quay in Bremerhaven.”

A fantastic aerial view showing both enormous transatlantic passenger liners together, with the harbor, railway tracks, dock facilities and crowds clearly visible. The names Bremen and Europa can also be seen on the ships.

Both vessels were among Germany’s best-known pre-WWII ocean liners and make this an especially attractive maritime and transportation postcard.
