WW2 German Employee Insurance Record Book Dörsdorf Official Third Reich Stamps 1925–1956

Original 1926 German Angestelltenversicherung Sammelbuch (Employee Insurance Collection/Record Book), published in Berlin by Bäli-Verlag Berger & Co. This was used as an official record of an employee’s insurance contribution history.

This is a particularly interesting example because it was kept in use for more than 30 years, with entries, official signatures and municipal stamps ranging from the Weimar Republic, Third Reich period through post-WWII Germany.

The book was issued for Willi Dirls, born 30 July 1895, with Dörsdorf recorded as the place of birth. The earliest completed page is dated 15 December 1925 and bears a large Bürgermeisteramt Dörsdorf mayor’s-office stamp and signature.

Visible dated records span approximately 1924 through 1956, providing an unusual continuous piece of German social and administrative history through several very different periods of German government.

Later pages include Gemeindeverwaltung Dörsdorf municipal markings and Rheinland-Pfalz / Gemeinde Dörsdorf stamps, showing the continued postwar use of the same record.

The booklet contains numerous attractive purple official Nazi Swastika eagle seals, including eagle-style municipal stamps, Bürgermeisteramt Dörsdorf markings and later Rheinland-Pfalz municipal seals. The combination of the 1926 original booklet, pasted-in continuation pages and decades of official entries makes this much more interesting than an unused insurance form.

Condition: Heavily used original condition as expected for a working document carried and updated over several decades. Cover has staining, creasing, edge wear and writing. Interior pages have folds, toning, staining and handling wear. Several additional record sheets are pasted/attached inside as part of its period use. Stamps and handwriting remain generally clear.
