WW2 German LSSAH 1939 SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Prague Praha Propaganda Postcard

Offered here is an older copy/reproduction of a very rare 1939 German postcard depicting the SS-Leibstandarte “Adolf Hitler” in Prague (Prag). This is NOT being sold as an original period postcard.

The dramatic front image shows helmeted SS troops marching through Prague accompanied by a military band with drums, while civilians line the street. An SS eagle and swastika motif appears prominently in the upper-left corner.

The original postcard design is captioned on the reverse:

“SS-Leibstandarte ‘Adolf Hitler’ in Prag”
Translation: “SS Leibstandarte ‘Adolf Hitler’ in Prague.”

Historical records confirm the Leibstandarte’s presence and ceremonial marches in Prague during 1939.
