WW2 German Third Reich Ein Jahr Grossdeutschland Occupied Austria Bank Envelope

Original 1939 commemorative presentation envelope issued to mark the first anniversary of the incorporation of Austria into Greater Germany. The front features the title “Ein Jahr Großdeutschland!” (“One Year of Greater Germany!”) with the date 12. März 1939, along with the inscription:

“Überreicht von der Sparkasse in Wels”
“Presented by the Savings Bank in Wels.”

This is a heavy stock paper envelope with an attractive blue printed design, originally intended to hold a commemorative booklet, certificate, or other presentation item.
