Excellent original WWII-era German real photo postcard (RPPC) featuring an exceptionally striking studio portrait of a Wehrmacht Heer officer in full uniform and peaked visor cap.

This is a particularly intense and almost sinister-looking military portrait, with the officer photographed in a dramatic close-up pose looking sharply away from the camera. His stern expression, tightly framed composition, and crisp uniform details give the image a commanding appearance that stands out considerably from the typical German soldier portrait.

The officer wears a Heer officer’s Schirmmütze (peaked visor cap) with prominent national eagle and wreath/cockade insignia.
