WW2 German Wehrmacht Soldiers Artillery Cannon Military Song Card Postcard 1940

Original WWII German song postcard featuring “Das Frankreichlied”, a German military marching song associated with the 1940 campaign in the West.

The upper portion features an excellent period image of a German heavy artillery piece being transported behind a tracked prime mover, with additional military vehicles visible in the convoy behind it.

Below the photograph are the printed lyrics to Das Frankreichlied. The card credits Herms Niel for the music and Heinrich Anacker for the words. The song dates specifically to 1940, making this an interesting piece connected with the German campaign in France.

A particularly attractive military postcard combining artillery, vehicles, photography, and printed wartime song lyrics.

Original period item, not a modern reproduction.

Condition is as shown with light age/storage wear. Please examine photos carefully.
