WW2 Nazi German Kings Rock Bavaria w NSDAP Swastika Flag Postcard

Original WWII-era Nazi German photographic postcard showing the Königsfelsen am Dreisessel, the distinctive rock formation at Dreisessel in the Bavarian Forest.

The photograph provides an excellent view of the massive stacked granite formation, with a Third Reich-era swastika flag prominently flying from the summit. The printed caption reads:

“Bayer. Ostmark – Königsfelsen am Dreisessel”

Translation: “Bavarian Ostmark – King’s Rock at Dreisessel.”

The reverse is particularly interesting and bears a large purple “Franz Wöhrl – Dreisessel” summit/visitor stamp mentioning an elevation of 1,312 meters. The postcard was produced by Lichtbild- u. Ansichtskarten-Verlag Photo-Ost, Eisenstein and carries image number 25869.

A very nice period tourism postcard combining the Dreisessel mountain landmark, Königsfelsen rock formation, Third Reich-era imagery, and an original Dreisessel visitor stamp on the reverse.

Condition is as shown, with light age and handling wear. Writing and period stamp are present on the reverse. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition.
