WW2 Nazi German NSDAP Third Reich SA-Mann Stormtrooper Newspaper Subscription Order List Form Sturmabteilung

Scarce original Third Reich-era SA (Sturmabteilung) administrative and propaganda form used to obtain new subscribers for “Der SA-Mann,” the official SA periodical. This is a particularly attractive piece of surviving political ephemera featuring bold period typography, an illustrated SA member at upper left, and the distinctive “SA-Mann” masthead at upper right.

The large headline reads:

“Jeder SA-Mann liest den SA-Mann”
Translation: “Every SA man reads Der SA-Mann.”

The form is headed “Bestell-Liste Nr.” (Order List No.) and was intended for an individual SA-Sturm to record newly enrolled subscribers. The printed text states approximately:

“The SA-Sturm reports with this list the following newly registered subscribers to the SA’s publication.”

It further explains that Der SA-Mann was available at a weekly subscription price of 15 Pfennig plus a 2 Pfennig delivery fee, with the option for monthly collection.

The instructions along the bottom translate approximately:

Der SA-Mann was a period publication associated with the Sturmabteilung (SA) and served as organizational reading and propaganda material.
