WW2 Nazi German Third reich 1942 Tag der Briefmarke Steel Helmet Soldier Feldpost Postcard

Original 1942 German “Tag der Briefmarke” (Day of the Postage Stamp) commemorative postcard featuring a dramatic Deutsche Feldpost illustration of a German soldier distributing bundles of mail to troops.

The large illustrated panel is headed:

“TAG DER BRIEFMARKE 1942”
Day of the Postage Stamp 1942

and:

“DEUTSCHE FELDPOST”
German Field Post

The artwork depicts a Wehrmacht soldier wearing a steel helmet and carrying bundles of letters and parcels, with military personnel and transportation visible in the background. Beside him is a large Deutsche Feldpost mail container displaying the period eagle and swastika insignia.

The bottom inscription reads:

“EINHEITSORGANISATION DER DEUTSCHEN SAMMLER”
Unified Organization of German Collectors

The card also carries an imprinted 3 Pfennig Adolf Hitler definitive postage stamp, making this an especially attractive example for collectors of German postal stationery and Feldpost material.

The vertical inscription states:

“Abgabepreis 25 Rpf einschließlich Zuschlag für den Kulturfonds”

Translation:

“Selling price 25 Reichspfennig including surcharge for the Cultural Fund.”

The artwork is signed in the plate “Ax-Hein” at lower left.

The postcard is unused and unmailed, leaving the address and message portions completely blank.

A very displayable original wartime postal-history item combining German Feldpost, stamp collecting, military mail imagery, Third Reich postal stationery and the 1942 Tag der Briefmarke observance.
