WWI Imperial German Iron Cross 1st Class EK1 Blank Face High w Award Document

This is an unusual plain or blank-face variation of the Iron Cross. Unlike the standard 1914 EK1, the black center has no crown, “W” cypher or 1914 date, giving the cross a clean and distinctive appearance.

The cross features a black center surrounded by a detailed silver-colored frame with the traditional beaded inner edging. The reverse has a full-length pin-and-catch attachment, allowing it to be worn in the traditional breast-badge position.
