WWII German Luftwaffe Plane Feldpost Art Postcard Soldier Drawing Fritz Brauner Aircraft

Original WWII-era German Feldpost artist postcard featuring a dramatic color illustration of a low-flying Luftwaffe military aircraft passing over a damaged rural village scene.

The card is identified along the reverse:

“Zeichnung: Gefr. Fritz Brauner”
Translation: “Drawing: Gefreiter (Corporal) Fritz Brauner.”

It was produced as part of the “Soldatenblätter für Feier und Freizeit” series and bears the publisher information:

“herausgegeben vom OKW” – published/issued by the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW / Armed Forces High Command)
Bibliographisches Institut AG, Leipzig, Graphischer Großbetrieb

The front artwork shows a Luftwaffe military plane flying extremely low over a rural landscape with damaged farm buildings in the foreground. The combination of aviation subject matter, wartime destruction, and named soldier-artist makes this a particularly attractive piece of period military artwork.

The reverse is headed “Feldpost” and has been extensively handwritten. It is addressed to a family in Post Strichowien, Kreis Lauenburg (Ostpommern), and appears to be dated 22.10 in the handwritten correspondence. The message begins with a family greeting and continues across much of the correspondence side.

This is a genuine used Feldpost card, rather than an unused example, giving it additional postal-history interest.
