WWII Nazi German Austria Österreich Adolf Hitler 6 Pf MNH Vertical Pair – Overprint & Black Bar

Interesting original WWII-era German/Austrian postage stamp vertical pair, featuring two purple 6 Pfennig portrait stamps with bold black “Österreich” overprints and heavy black bars obliterating the original country inscription at the bottom.

This is an attractive joined vertical pair, with both stamps showing the same overprint treatment. The strong black Österreich inscription across the portrait makes these immediately recognizable as specialized German/Austrian philatelic material from the period.

Both stamps are MNH – Mint Never Hinged, retaining their original gum with no hinge remnants as stated. They remain attached together with the center perforations intact.

Details: Original joined vertical pair; 6 Pfennig denomination; purple portrait design; “Österreich” overprint; black-bar obliteration; MNH / postfrisch condition.

A distinctive pair for collectors of WWII German stamps, Austria overprints, occupation and provisional issues, specialized overprint varieties and Third Reich philately.

Please examine the enlarged photograph carefully for perforations, centering, printing and exact condition.
