WWII Nazi German Bronze IAB Infantry Assault Badge Medal – S.H.u.Co. 41

Offered here is a very high-quality reproduction of the WWII German Infantry Assault Badge in Bronze (Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze), patterned after the desirable S.H.u.Co. 41 manufactured examples.

The Bronze Infantry Assault Badge was instituted on June 1, 1940 and was principally awarded to members of motorized infantry formations who participated in qualifying infantry assaults or counterattacks on three separate days.

This example has an especially attractive aged bronze finish, giving it the appearance of a well-preserved period badge. The obverse features the characteristic oak-leaf wreath, German Army eagle, K98 rifle with fixed bayonet and detailed rifle sling.

The reverse is equipped with a traditional vertical pin and catch arrangement and is clearly marked:

S.H.u.Co.
41

This marking is associated with Sohni, Heubach & Co. of Oberstein/Idar-Oberstein, a documented wartime manufacturer of Bronze Infantry Assault Badges. Original examples bearing the S.H.u.Co. 41 marking are known and collected as a distinct maker variation.

The reproduction has excellent definition throughout, particularly in the eagle’s feathering, oak leaves, rifle, bayonet and sling. The intentionally aged bronze coloration adds considerably to its display appeal.

IMPORTANT: This is a modern high-quality reproduction and is NOT being represented or sold as an original WWII-manufactured badge.

An excellent choice for a militaria display, reenactment collection, educational exhibit, replacement piece, or collector who wants the appearance of a scarce maker-marked original without the expense of an authentic example.

Please examine all photographs carefully for exact construction, finish and condition. Sold exactly as shown.
