WWII Nazi German GAB General Assault Badge 75 Engagements – JFS

Offered here is an exceptionally high-quality museum-grade replica of the WWII German General Assault Badge for 75 Engagements (Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen mit Einsatzzahl 100), complete with the desirable JFS maker mark.

The numbered General Assault Badge grades were introduced in June 1943, with grades for 25, 50, 75 and 100 engagements. The 75-engagement version represented the 2nd highest numbered grade and original wartime examples are considered exceptionally rare.

This reproduction is patterned after examples manufactured by Josef Feix & Söhne (JFS), Gablonz, one of the known wartime manufacturers of the 75-engagement badge. Original JFS examples are documented with the distinctive boxed “JFS” maker mark on the reverse.

This is a particularly impressive replica featuring a gold-finished oak-leaf wreath, contrasting dark silver/gray eagle, crossed bayonet and stick grenade, and the prominent “75” engagement plaque at the bottom. The multi-piece appearance, four visible reverse rivets, broad vertical pin assembly and boxed JFS marking give it the appearance of a high-end collector reproduction. Comparable museum-grade reproductions are specifically produced using this multi-piece, four-rivet JFS configuration.

The detail is outstanding throughout, particularly in the eagle’s feathers, oak leaves, weapons and wreath. It is an excellent display piece for a collection where an extremely rare and expensive original would be impractical.

IMPORTANT: This badge is a modern museum-quality replica/reproduction and is not being represented or sold as an original WWII-manufactured award.

An outstanding reproduction of one of the most difficult numbered German combat badges to obtain in original form.
