WWII Nazi German Luftwaffe Soldier Portrait Photo Postcard CRISP Visor Cap 1944 Dated

Original WWII German Luftwaffe serviceman portrait photograph, dated June 28, 1944 on the reverse.

The photograph shows the Luftwaffe serviceman in a formal studio-style portrait wearing his Luftwaffe visor cap. The cap displays the characteristic Luftwaffe eagle and swastika insignia above the winged cockade, both of which are nicely visible in the photograph.

He is photographed wearing a heavy outer garment with a scarf around his neck.

The reverse contains an original handwritten German dedication/message along with the clearly written date:

28.6.44 – June 28, 1944

The handwritten inscription appears personal in nature, but portions of the old German handwriting are difficult to decipher reliably, so no speculative full translation has been added.

A “Fotoständer” marking/logo is also present along the bottom of the reverse.

This is an original wartime photograph, not a modern reproduction. A very nice identifiable Luftwaffe-era portrait with excellent visor-cap insignia and an original wartime-dated inscription.

Condition shows normal age and handling wear, including light edge/corner and surface wear. The photograph remains well preserved with good image detail. Please examine both photographs carefully for exact condition.
