WWII Nazi German PAB Panzer Assault Badge Medal Silver Grade Adolf Scholze

Offered here is an exceptionally high-quality reproduction of the WWII German Panzer Assault Badge in Silver (Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber).

This impressive badge features the classic design with a Panzer tank advancing through terrain, surrounded by an oval oak-leaf wreath and surmounted by the German Army eagle. The sharply defined tank, tracks, oak leaves, eagle and other details give this reproduction an outstanding display appearance.

The reverse features a full vertical pin and catch assembly and is prominently marked with the desirable “AS in Triangle” maker-style mark. This marking has traditionally been associated by collectors and dealers with Adolf Scholze, although current reference sources note that the actual wartime manufacturer behind the AS-in-triangle mark remains unconfirmed.

The original Silver Panzer Assault Badge was instituted on December 20, 1939, and was awarded to qualifying armored personnel, particularly tank crews, for participation in armored combat engagements.

This example is NOT an original wartime badge. It is being sold as a modern reproduction, but the quality is exceptional. The crisp detailing, bright silver appearance, openwork construction and maker-style marking make it an excellent piece for a militaria display, reenactor collection, educational exhibit, replacement display, or reference collection.

Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition and construction of the badge you will receive.

Condition: Excellent reproduction condition with very attractive silver finish and crisp detailing.

Authenticity: High-quality reproduction – not being offered as an original WWII-manufactured badge.
