WWII Nazi German Third Reich NSDAP Reichsleitung Letterhead & NSV Volkswohlfahrt 1942 Document

Interesting original WWII German Third Reich NSDAP document grouping consisting of an impressive large-format NSDAP Reichsleitung official letterhead sheet together with a dated NSDAP Amt für Volkswohlfahrt / NSV Kreisamtsleitung Büdingen invoice document from December 16, 1942.

The large letterhead is particularly striking and reads “Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – Reichsleitung” across the top, with a colored Party emblem prominently printed in the center. It includes official administrative information for the NSDAP headquarters in Munich as well as information for the Party newspaper Völkischer Beobachter.

The lower-left heading translates approximately as:

“The Führer’s Commissioner for the Supervision of the Entire Intellectual and Ideological Training and Education of the NSDAP.”

The letterhead also lists Berlin-Charlottenburg 2, Bismarckstr. 1, along with period telephone and postal-account information. The typed invoice text translates approximately to:

“Course subsidy for the child Gertrud Hils, Gettenau. Course from 13.10.42 – 13.11.42 at the children’s home ‘Steinmühle.’”

The amount shown is 37.20 Reichsmarks. The document carries period administrative markings and dated receiving stamps, including a clearly visible 28 DEC. 1942 stamp and another later processing stamp. It also bears an “Hauptschadensabteilung” departmental stamp with handwritten notations.

The NSV (Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt / National Socialist People’s Welfare) became one of the major welfare organizations operating in Third Reich Germany.
