WWII SS Totenkopf Officers Cuff Title 3rd SS Panzer Division Deaths Head Unit RZM Tag

HIGH-QUALITY VINTAGE REPRODUCTION WWII GERMAN SS TOTENKOPF OFFICERS CUFF TITLE – HAND-EMBROIDERED SILVER BULLION THREAD ON BLACK CLOTH WITH SILVER-BULLION EDGE TRIM AND RZM-STYLE MANUFACTURER LABEL!

An attractive, well-made vintage reproduction of the famous SS Totenkopf cuff title, associated with the 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf and the earlier SS-Totenkopfverbände (SS Death’s Head units).

This is an older collector-made reproduction, NOT an original WWII-period example, featuring hand-embroidered silver bullion threads lettering on black woven cloth.

The distinctive Gothic-style inscription reads:

“Totenkopf”

The lettering is hand embroidered in silver bullion threads with raised embroidery, closely recreating the appearance of the enlisted men’s and NCO-style cuff titles associated with these formations.

Both the upper and lower edges feature narrow 7 silver-bullion woven strand borders, providing an attractive contrast against the black fabric.

An especially interesting feature is the attached RZM-style manufacturer label, bearing printed markings associated with the Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP, including organizational emblems and manufacturer identification.

Historical Background

The SS-Totenkopfverbände (SS-TV) were Nazi SS formations responsible for guarding and administering concentration camps.

Personnel associated with these formations wore distinctive insignia, including cuff titles bearing the word “Totenkopf.”

The 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf was subsequently formed using personnel drawn in part from the concentration camp guard system. The division served as a combat formation during World War II.

Original Totenkopf cuff titles existed in different constructions and variations, including embroidered examples for enlisted personnel and officers.

This vintage reproduction recreates the appearance of a silver bullion threads embroidered officers  cuff title.

Condition

Attractive vintage condition with well-preserved hand embroidery and black cloth.
